The Kent Roosevelt-Ravenna football rivalry is one of the state’s most respected. It dates back to 1911 and has impacted countless families over the decades. When the Rough Riders host the Ravens this season on Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, it will mark the 100th all-time meeting the between the two schools in the historic rivalry.

Riders Compete at Spartan Invitational

The boys and girls cross country teams competed at the Spartan Invitational in Boardman on Saturday.  Top varsity boys finishers were Nathaniel Bailey and Andrew Murray.  The top junior varsity finisher was Alex ODaniel.  The girls varsity team was lead by Kaylie Murray and Lexi Patz.  The top junior varsity finisher was Spencer Hayes.
