Meet Recap

The lady Rough Riders learned how to win today as the team continues to improve. Emily Byles once again bowled well rolling games of 203 and 244 for a 447 series. Laurie Farley came up big rolling a 198 and a 145 for a 343 series. Braydn Harris rolled consistently rolling games of 152 and 156 for a 308 series. Anna Larison had a high game of 156 and 292 series while Barbara Hickin had a high game of 142 and a 268 series.
The ladies lead by 101 pins heading into the baker format. All season long our goal is to roll 150 or better and we rolled two games of 148 and 146. Nordonia put the pressure on the ladies as they rolled games of 183 and 204. Entering the final baker game the lead was down to 8. Eventually the ladies sealed the deal in the 8th, 9th, and 10th frames to win by 14 pins. Overall, this was big for our program as the ladies are continuing to improve and have fun.
Finally, thanks to Jim Palmer and his staff at Kent Lanes for always making us feel welcomed and running a first class establishment, Furthermore, thank you to everyone who came out to support us this season.
The ladies will be in action next Saturday at Riviera Lanes at 1:00 PM in Fairlawn to bowl in the Tomahawk tournament.
