Roosevelt sweeps the season series with defending Suburban League Champion Copley with a 7-1 win on the road. Freshman Zac Common improved his record to (5-0) throwing six before giving way to senior Phil Kaderle in the seventh. The Riders jumped on the board for 5 in the second inning on a 2-run single by Freshman Spencer Townend, an RBI single by common and a 2-run Double by Sophomore Nate Ritchey. The lead was pushed to seven in the fourth by Sophomore Riley Day’s 2-run single. The indians would pick up a run in the sixth on a Will Lutes RBI single.
