Meet Recap

It was a “marathon” of bowling; with the Kent boys rolling 27 baker games to achieve the victory. Scoring was definitely low because of the Sectional lane-dresssing pattern applied to the synthetic lanes. 15 qualifying bakers found the Riders rolling off with Ravenna for the step-ladder finals. Kent – 176-185-166-174 Ravenna 174-188-137-156 moved us to competing with the top seed Stow. Kent 186-150-172-189 Stow 167-167-156-149. Knocking off the Bulldogs moved us into the championship round vs Copley, who defeated Woodridge in 3-of 4 bakers. Finals: Kent 225 to 141 for Copley, 157 to 187, 174 to 157, and for the win 165 to 152. Riders win the Tomahawk Invitational!! A tough scoring pattern tested the mental side of the bowlers games, and I am proud of the way we kept our focus and effort flowing. All 7 team members were needed in this win. Great bowling gentlemen, way to hang in there!!!
