Meet Recap

Kent Roosevelt boys started slow, rolling out 961 and 959 for the first two games. Needing a big rally, the team only had three opens in game three and posted a remarkable score of 1144. ( a 229 average per man) Moving into 6th position in the 21 team field, the baker games would be key. The Riders had a strong opening game of 224 followed by 178, but faltered with 130, 164. A pep talk resulted in a focused 246 – 205 finish; earning Kent a 4th place finish overall. Great team effort. Logan Manhard takes the bronze medal for 3rd high game of 267 and 3rd high series with 703, rolling 191-245-267 for the set.
Freshman Kobe Thigpen was in his zone, banging out 235-232-193 for a 660 series.
Sr. Frank Farley 187-187-237 for 608, Lucius Ivory 234 and Shaun Bennett 213 added to the positive team result. WAY TO GO GENTLEMEN !!!!
