Kent boys win in style at the Twinsburg “Eye of the Tiger” Baker tournament !
The format was 12 baker games, cut to top 8, advance to stepladder with #1 seed bowling #8 qualifier, 2 vs 7, 3 vs 6, 4 vs 5. Best 2 of 3 bakers qualify for final four teams to compete with accumulative score of 5 more baker games being the winner.
Kent bakers: 138,227,211,214,225,190,236,187,179,203,220,&255 =2485 thru 12 games.
Kent vs Green in stepladder, Kent advances to final with 248 to 176 & 214 to 205 games.

Kent 237 – 231 – 165 – 214 – 279 = 1126 This coach is very proud of a GREAT TEAM effort. Performance of the day:Logan Manhard rolled 19 consecutive strikes before leaving a 10 pin, and 55 total strikes out of 69 balls thrown, a remarkable feat at 79.7% ratio. Frank Farley and Lucius Ivory both rolled 22 strikes out of 38 frames each averaging 57.8 %, while Shaun Bennett was 21 for 38 at 55%, and Chris Moneypenny was 14 of 28 for 50%. Closing the door with a 19th game of 279 was an amazing effort by this squad. Go Riders !!!
